Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.
Maryland State Handgun Classes:

Handgun Qualification License (HQL) Class – HQL training is a four-hour block of instruction which includes classroom instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant demonstrate the ability to safely fire a handgun.

Maryland Wear and Carry Class – The Wear and Carry Permit training is 16 hours of instruction for an original application and 8 hours of instruction for a renewal application. The Maryland approved training includes instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.

TASER Civilian Training Course
Our TASER Civilian Training Course will empower you to go about your daily life knowing you have the skills and tools necessary to survive an attack. Use of an Electronic Control Device (ECD), to include TASER, is legal in Maryland and most states. The State of Maryland requires a background check prior to the purchase of an ECD. This course focuses on the civilian use of the TASER Pulse as a less-lethal option for self-defense. You will learn the basic mechanics of the TASER Conducted Electrical Weapon (CEW) and conduct numerous training drills during the class.
A taser exposure is NOT required to pass this course, but you are required to fire at least two live cartridges at a stationary target.
